Mission Nasha Mukht Singtam: Major Drug Bust as Police Seize 2,880 Capsules

In a major advancement under the ongoing Mission Nasha Mukht Singtam, law enforcement authorities have successfully dismantled a crucial link in the region’s illegal drug network. On Tuesday, Singtam Police intercepted a significant consignment of illegal pharmaceutical capsules and arrested a woman found carrying 2,880 suspected Spasmo and Pengi Plus capsules.

Acting promptly on reliable intelligence, a dedicated police team led by SHO PI Sher Bahadur Manger detained the suspect, identified as Roshni Chettri. The capsules were discovered carefully concealed inside her bag. To ensure transparency and procedural integrity, the operation was conducted in the presence of SDM Rabdang Roshan Subba and local councillors.

Authorities stated that this operation marks another strong step in the mission to create a drug-free Singtam. Surveillance across the region has been intensified, with law enforcement committed to taking strict action against individuals engaged in illegal drug distribution.
